Are you looking for a summer camp you want to send your boys to, a summer camp that’s Catholic?
Are your boys “bored to death” during the summer vacation?
Do you want a break from these guys?
Do you wish you could send the boys somewhere for a few days so that you could have the house all to yourself?
Are you looking for a babysitter?
Do you want to get rid of them for four days?

If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, then this summer camp can help. This summer camp is called “Quo Vadis Days,” a Latin phrase which means, “Where are you going?” It’s for young men ages 13-19, and it’s on July 11-14 in Spokane. It’s organized and led by our seminarians by the Dioceses of Yakima and Spokane. Awesome priests give awesome talks. There’s Mass every day. There’s Rosary and Eucharistic Adoration every night. We have all of these wonderful spiritual activities not only to help them grow and appreciate their Catholic faith, but also to share with them what’s like to be a priest. Of course, since it’s a summer camp, it’s not all about praying and listening to talks. We have fun activities and games, too, like swimming, hiking, kayaking, sports, capture the flag, etc.

One note of emphasis: This is not a boot camp for future priests. In other words, when you send them to this summer camp, they’re not coming back to you as priests. In the past, parents have been hesitant to register their kids because they thought that we’re keeping them and shipping them off directly to the seminary! My goodness, they’re only 13; they can’t even decide which cereal to have for breakfast! No, this is simply a summer camp that’s awesome, fun, and totally Catholic.
